The 1993 till today, war was very disastrous for Burundi; especially the plain of Rusizi which became the theatre of war even today.

During these events; the inhabitants of the country have lost all their goods because pillages and destructions.

In his efforts of producing in order to survive, the peasant has no support and comes up against multiple problems:

    • Agricultural tools
    • Medical store products
    • Different intervenors in the production forsook everything because of pillages of their goods.
